This must be one of the all-time-great GP surgeries.
The receptionists are charming and helpful even under duress and it is easy to get an appointment either straightaway or a week or two down the line. The nurses and other staff are equally helpfull and totally competent as are the GPs themselves. The managers and admin must take credit too for such a success.
The QCC for Oxford should highlight this surgery as the epitome of good practice and a benchmark for other practices to aim for.
My doctor had been observing me for some time and I cannot fault the treatment he prescribes. All of the doctors I have been treated by in this practice are courteous and caring and always do all in their power to help. I do not think there is much to be improved upon.
GP listened sensitively explained all possibilities to my daughter to help reassure her.
Gave good advice and treatment options.
Jacquline Wright has helped me so much with the mindfulness staff. I owe her my life and lots of people would benefit from her help.
The Doctors are good but it can be difficult to get an appointment, they don't offer extended opening hours and the online booking system is really poor. You have to go in to the surgery during working hours to get a new User ID if anything goes wrong with your login, which it seems to frequently. The login error messages say the service is down even if that isn't the problem with your login. You can't book appointments with the Phlebotimist online.
